MineRP User Groups: End-users and product managers discuss the future.
Pieter Roos, Product Manager Scheduling at MineRP
Being a software company is about much more than building and selling software. At MineRP, we relentlessly pursue mining value – and we do this by constantly reminding ourselves to focus on the actual end-users of our software.
In many mines across the world, geologists, mine planners, schedulers, surveyors, shift supervisors, drafts people, equipment operators, shift planners and every-day miners depend on MineRP software to make their workday a success. These are the often-uncelebrated heroes that we interact with daily through training, support and advice.
These are also the people who develop best practices in their areas of speciality, who keep operations on track with optimal plans, and who expect our software to be functionally reliable, feature rich, and future ready.
“Our User Groups are not sales conferences” says Andries Loubser, Product Director at MineRP. “Rather, we have robust discussions where customers showcase the way they use our software, tell us about what works and what needs improvement, and provide invaluable input into our future product vision and roadmaps.”
